Architect

I am a detail oriented project architect and designer with seventeen years experience working in architecture. I am a registered Architect in Queensland and have extensive experience running public, education and residential projects. I also have significant experience in medium and large scale multi-residential projects. I am known for my attention to detail and skills in construction, architectural design and Revit and also have a developed skill set in building cost analysis. I have a keen creative interest in art, carpentry and the process of making and utilise this broad skill base to investigate design and detailing issues with a complete thoroughness.

Recently, as a Senior Architect at Conrad Gargett, I have been part of a dynamic team delivering four two storey classroom and staff facilities buildings for the Department of Education, NSW. These projects are currently under construction and are all future focused primary school buildings with an emphasis on open and interactive learning spaces. I have also been Project Architect for a series of 56 townhouses which are currently under construction.


As a Project Architect I formed an integral role in the education team of bureau^proberts. From 2009 to 2012 I delivered four Brisbane Catholic Education primary school buildings in the Brisbane and greater Brisbane area and also led the completion of three other similar scale education projects. I was also Senior Project Architect and designer for a new library and classroom building at the Sacred Heart Primary School in Booval.

I have also been project architect for a range of public works including the Bellbowrie Pool redevelopment which gained the Think Brick Award 2013. I played a key role in the delivery of the QUT Chancellery and recently completed the La Boîte Theatre refurbishments at QUT Kelvin Grove Campus. I have had a major role in the design and documentation a range of multi-storey apartment towers in Brisbane including the SW1 Townhouses at Southbank and the Scott Street Apartments at Kangaroo point.
 

Artist

As an artist I create artworks and made items and furniture. My artistic interest is semi-abstract landscapes as well as form and colour investigations. I use bright colours and detailed form explorations as a way to convey feeling and interest. I generally use pen and watercolour.
